Thank God It's Over!

Finals are done....and am mentally drained. I spanked my finals like they stole something though, and that feels great. I think I now have finally understood the concept of hard work paying off. I'm still trying to catch up on sleep though, my body took a beating this semester. Between a shitty sleeping schedule and having an office job and being stressed 24/7 I am not impressed with myself....ugh.Today's my dad's birthday, well technically yesterday, but anyhow, we went and got a Christmas tree which was oh so fun. Because its so warm the tree farm we went to was solid mud. Shoes, pants, gloves...all covered in mud, but the tree looks good. I also made my first attempt at a double layer cake. Chocolate....is there any other kind? Granted the cake itself was box mix, but the frosting was made by yours truly....It turned out pretty damn good. My dad and some friends of the famly and i went out to eat and then ended up at our church eating my giganto cake cause apparently the state of wisconsin has a cake cutting law.....yeah you heard me, a cake cutting law!Apparently, if you bring a cake in for someones birthday to a restaurant you are charged a $10 cake cutting fee, and the waiter/waitress has to cut and serve it for you.....am i the only one that thinks thats a bit rediculous?Things im planning to do over break:work out....alot...im out of shapedo some more geneologysee some friendsknit a bitsleep alotcook some healthy foodgo to a good concert of which i havent decided yetI think thats about it...Oh, hey so i finally got the chance to watch Decline of Western Civilization Pt II: The Metal Years.....i keep on seeing snippets of it and its kind of obscure to rent and i really wanted to see it.....Its very interesting, if anyone has an interest in music trends, this is the film for you, also you'll have to tollerate some bad metal....Faster Pussycat, Lizzie Borden....blech....however there are some classic rockers that made their way into the documentary too, which evens it out. There are also some oddly ucky and funny sex stories from the band.Im gonna finish it and then head to bed....nighty night kids!
